Hamburg, Germany

Near Planten un Blomen.

Hamburg is an attractive city with lots to offer visitors.

I arrived by train from Berlin at the large railway station where you can find a variety of places to eat.

Here's a brief clip as I was wandering about in search of food options.

I stayed at a small place not far from the station.

The manager was quite accommodating despite my very early arrival so, I was able to put my bags in my room and go out for a long walk past various buildings and artworks to a large lake and gardens.

There are several parks and gardens including Planten un Blomen. I wandered in this area for quite sometime--including a stop for lunch.

On the next day, I headed over to Miniatur Wunderland, where I took so many photos of the world's larges model railway system that I made a separate post.

The attraction is near the waterway and the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa Bridge.

The city was chartered in 1189.

On the third day, I headed back to the station for a long journey to Munich.
