| Christmas in the Flower Dome, 2026 |
An unforgettable adventure through nature, light, and imagination
On a sweltering, sunlit Sunday afternoon, we set off for the enchanting Gardens by the Bay—a destination promising that “flowers never stop blooming.” Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or new to this part of the world, this iconic landmark offers a visual and sensory feast that’s bound to delight at every turn. Guided by online tips and traveller wisdom, we focused our adventure on the two spectacular conservatories and made sure to catch the magical Supertree Grove light show as dusk descended.
Flower Dome: A World of Colour and Festivity
Stepping into the Flower Dome felt like entering a living kaleidoscope. The conservatory bursts with vibrant plants and blossoms from every corner of the globe. Our visit coincided with a festive display—an adorable Christmas village, miniature trains weaving through snow-dusted cottages, and twinkling lights that captured hearts young and old. Wandering amongst the lush floral landscapes and towering trees, the sheer scale and beauty were almost impossible to capture on camera; you really have to see it for yourself.
Cloud Forest: Jurassic Wonders and a Misty Mountain

| Magnificent Waterfall- Cloud Forest |
After a brief respite, we found ourselves standing before the mystical Cloud Forest. This conservatory is as grand as one and a half football pitches and houses a misty mountain path behind a spectacular 35-metre waterfall. The highlight? A captivating Jurassic World experience. Animatronic dinosaurs—some massive and awe-inspiring, others small and playful—stalked and soared around us, thrilling children and adults alike.
Keep your eyes peeled for cunning predators hidden in alcoves and winged giants swooping overhead!
Dining and Relaxation
By evening, our stomachs led us to Shake Shack, where we tucked into a delicious meal—albeit on the pricier side. Whether you fancy a quick bite or a leisurely picnic, there are plenty of dining spots and picturesque places to rest throughout the gardens.
Supertree Grove: A Light Show to Remember
With nightfall, the Supertree Grove came to life in a spectacular display of light and music. We found the perfect perch on stone benches near the restaurant, taking in the mesmerising show as the illuminated trees danced in harmony. The next day, we couldn’t resist returning to see the grove by daylight—a completely different, yet equally breathtaking experience.
Travel Tips
