Valley of the Kings, Luxor Egypt

 The Valley of the Kings contains over 60 tombs, which date to about 1500 BCE to 1075 BCE.

Our first visit was to the tomb of Ramses VI and the second one is Rameses IX. We were amazed at the stunning colours in the images on the walls and ceilings as we walked along the crowded pathway.

I've included several images so you can see some of the details as well as larger views. By including the people ( I had little choice) you can estimate the height of the passage ways.
